Certification alignment and training scope

Current exam: 200-301 CCNA v1.1. This course supports preparation for Cisco’s current associate-level networking certification. Cisco awards CCNA after the required exam is passed; attending training does not award the certification.

Who CCNA Training Is For

Aspiring network engineers, junior network administrators, IT support engineers, system administrators, and Unified Communications engineers who want stronger networking foundations. It also supports learners considering later professional-level study.

Recommended Networking Background

Basic computer use and an interest in networking are helpful. Familiarity with operating systems and the command line makes the practical work easier. These are ARA preparation recommendations, not additional Cisco certification requirements.

Network fundamentals

Connect addressing and subnetting to real traffic flows. Compare network components, interfaces, TCP/UDP behavior, IPv4, and IPv6.

Network access

Build and verify VLANs, trunks, EtherChannel, and Spanning Tree behavior. Relate wired access to wireless fundamentals and device management.

IP connectivity

Read routing tables, trace forwarding decisions, and work through static routing and single-area OSPF scenarios.

IP services

Explain and verify DHCP, DNS, NAT/PAT, NTP, monitoring, logging, remote access, and basic QoS behavior.

Security fundamentals

Apply basic access controls and device protection. Explain AAA, VPN concepts, Layer 2 safeguards, and wireless security.

Automation and programmability

Interpret JSON and REST API concepts, compare controller-based networks with traditional management, and discuss automation tools and AI-assisted operations.

Practical learning

Work through addressing plans, configuration examples, routing-table interpretation, and connectivity troubleshooting. Guided exercises connect a symptom to verification commands and an appropriate corrective action.

Demonstrations, guided configuration examples, discussion, and troubleshooting activities are selected for the course. Any hands-on environment or access requirements are agreed before the program begins.

Live Online Training
