CCIE Collaboration Training

Expert-level development and practical preparation

Advance your ability to design, implement, operate, troubleshoot, and optimize complex collaboration environments. Explore expert-level technologies and practical scenarios, with preparation tailored to experienced engineers pursuing deeper technical capability and CCIE Collaboration goals.

Certification alignment and training scope

Step 1 — 350-801 CLCOR: Pass the qualifying core exam, also used in the CCNP Collaboration path.

Step 2 — CCIE Collaboration Practical Exam v3.1: Pass Cisco’s eight-hour hands-on examination covering the lifecycle of complex enterprise collaboration solutions.

Core-exam preparation and practical-exam preparation are distinct scopes. ARA agrees the focus, technologies, and exercises with you before training. Passing the core alone does not award CCIE Collaboration.

Who CCIE Collaboration Training Is For

Senior collaboration and Unified Communications engineers, collaboration architects, experienced CCNP-level professionals, and engineers responsible for complex multi-site or hybrid environments.

Recommended Experience

Substantial experience with CUCM, dial plans, SIP, gateways, media, applications, and operational troubleshooting is recommended. Cisco lists no formal certification prerequisites, but the qualifying core exam must be passed before the practical exam. Neither CCNP Enterprise nor a particular ARA course is a mandatory step.

What you will learn

  • Evaluate design and operational tradeoffs across a complete collaboration solution.
  • Trace complex call flows and isolate failures across system boundaries.
  • Connect security, identity, media, and network dependencies to service behavior.
  • Plan and verify changes using a disciplined troubleshooting and documentation method.

Explore the Expert-Level Curriculum

Explore the modules below. The agreed training plan sets the depth and practical focus for your experience and goals.

Protocols and APIs

Analyze SIP, SDP, RTP, DTMF, and secure signaling. Relate collaboration APIs and automation to configuration and verification tasks.

Infrastructure and QoS

Diagnose network-service dependencies, bandwidth, call admission, certificates, and voice-quality behavior.

Call control and dial plans

Develop routing strategies across CUCM, Webex Calling, CUBE, and Expressway, with resilience and multi-site operation in view.

Endpoints and user management

Examine registration, identity, directory services, SSO, and user access across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid deployments.

Edge services

Analyze SIP trunks, CUBE/SBC behavior, Expressway traversal, remote access, local gateways, security, and high availability.

Media resources and meetings

Follow media-resource selection, conferencing, transcoding, and meeting integration, including Webex and Video Mesh concepts.

Applications and services

Troubleshoot messaging, presence, recording, and customer-experience integrations. Discuss Webex service APIs and automation in operational context.

Practical Preparation and Troubleshooting

Work through complex call-flow analysis, configuration reviews, packet and signaling interpretation, integration faults, and design or migration scenarios. Practical preparation is tailored to the agreed learning goals. Dedicated rack access, mock exams, and specific lab facilities are not included by default; any required environment and access arrangements must be confirmed in the training plan.

Demonstrations, guided configuration examples, discussion, and troubleshooting activities are selected for the course. Any hands-on environment or access requirements are agreed before the program begins.

CCIE Collaboration Delivery Options

Intensive Boot Camp

Focused, instructor-led training through a concentrated schedule, with technical instruction, demonstrations, and practical exercises appropriate to the selected course.

Live Online Training

Interactive remote instruction with technical explanations, demonstrations, discussion, and guided exercises.

Private Team Training

Training adapted to an organization’s technologies, participant experience, and operational requirements.

Boot camp describes the schedule; live online describes the delivery method. A boot camp may be delivered live online. Scope, schedule, and practical arrangements are agreed for each inquiry.
